In 1910, Frank and Mary Vine opened a small meat market in Centreville, Mississippi, with a commitment to quality and service. Nearly seven decades later, in 1977, their son Don Vine expanded the business with a traditional smokehouse, crafting what would become a local favorite—Vine’s smoked sausage.
Don built his reputation on three key principles: Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. He believed in offering only the best products and treating every customer like family.
Today, his son Benny Vine proudly carries on that legacy. At Vines Quality Meats, we still craft our famous smoked sausage using only the finest cuts of premium pork, Don’s secret blend of spices and herbs, and slow-smoking it over rich hickory wood. Tradition and quality are at the heart of everything we do.
